The main Sardinian airports are:

  • Cagliari, 50 km far from the venue (highly recommended, unless you are coming to visit also other areas of Sardinia), can be reached in approx. 50 min by car;
  • Alghero, 280 km far from the venue, can be reached in approx. 3 hours and 15 min by car;
  • Olbia, 310 km far from the venue, can be reached in approx. 3 hours and 30 min by car.

For those arriving at the Cagliari airport, a shuttle service is provided to the conference attendees to reach the Flamingo Hotel.

The shuttle service must be reserved when registering to the conference by providing the date, time and your flight number in the registration form. When exiting from the baggage claim area, you will find a person with a clear indication of the QoMEX2018 shuttle service.

Note that the conference registration fee does not cover the cost of the shuttle. You will be requested to pay directly at the shuttle the cost which will be of 20Euros per transfer per person.

You can also take a taxi once you arrive at the Elmas airport with a cost of around 70-80 euros.

Car rental is recommended for those willing to go sightseeing.
